ViewSonic: Releases 10-inch Android G-Tablet

With the current market already inundated with tablet devices, you will not be surprised to hear of yet another. For today it is the turn of ViewSonic and their 10-inch LCD “G-Tablet,” available from Office Depot in-store and online. So what can we tell you about ViewSonic’s new offering?

The G-Tablet as it has been named, will come packed with Google’s Android 2.2 (Froyo), Tegra 2, multi-touch screen, 16GB memory with microSD card slot to expand if necessary, accessibility to play games in High Definition, WiFi connection, 1.3 mega-pixel camera positioned on the front of the tablet along with 1080p video playback, and benefits of a huge number of apps. Vice President of Merchandising for Office Depot “Randy Wick,” has commented by saying, “Android-based tablets are going to be one of the hottest items of the holiday season, and Office Depot is thrilled to be one of the first retailers to carry this much anticipated product.”
