If you were spending your Black Friday trying to snag yourself a cheap Amazon Kindle then you were most probably disappointed. In fact the 2000 units were shifted so fast that some are arguing whether they even went on sale at all!

The massive online shopping site Amazon were offering their Kindle for a mere $89 as one of their special deals on Black Friday, and according to Cnet the gadgets disappeared in about 2 seconds. The E-Books went on sale at 9AM pacific time and before you could even click add to cart they were all gone. With one thousand Kindles vanishing each second, no wonder the sale was described as a “Lightening Deal”.

The fact that the Kindles sold out so quickly has caused a lot of anger amongst customers, with the Amazon consumer Grebwatcher saying “Amazon knew it would be flooded with people wanting this product across the country. To have it NOT available from the SECOND it goes on sale is FRAUD”. Visit Cnet to see more of the rant from this unhappy customer.

Did you manage to get your hands on one of the 2000 dirt cheap Kindles on sale? Let us know if you did, or if you were unfortunate enough to miss out by leaving a comment.
