Cyber Monday Deals – Awareness Increases In Canada

According to recent surveys, more Canadians are expected to cross the borders into the US for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. PayPal Canada’s Ipsos Reid has also surveyed that 34% of Canadians that are 18-34 years of age know the term… Cyber Monday.

So where did Cyber Monday come from? The term came around when there was a spike in orders placed online following Black Friday on the Monday. Black Friday is the day that sees massive reductions throughout different stores.

According to thestar.com Canadian shoppers are most likely to be purchasing computers, books clothing and accessories. Although it is expected that they will be spending more on electrical goods and mobile phones. Not any real surprises then, kind of the same as the rest of us.
