Consumers Social Media Fears – Corporate Participation

Recently we have brought you various business related articles regarding social media and the work place, as well as online and offline ways that you can promote your business. Well now we are moving onto what some consumers may be thinking about the use of social media in their corporations and researchers.

According to some consumers are a little wary of different corporations getting involved with social media as they feel it is turning into a market place, well there is no getting away from the fact that social media and social marketing are extremely close and in fact in my opinion are interlinked, you don’t get one without the other.

Head over to where their article is talking about research that has been done in Barcelona, Spain. I have to say though, I think that this is rubbish… whilst many corporations may feel that way, they will not want to miss out on their next big stream of revenue. Where is the world going? It’s moving towards social media and marketing… Where will businesses and corporations move to? Social media and marketing.

Perhaps some of you have a broader knowledge of these fields than me and some of you will agree with me, some won’t but I want to know why you do or don’t in the comments below.
