Tim Burton Twitter Followers Helps Stainboy Story

Fans of award-winning movie director, writer and producer Tim Burton were given a fantastic opportunity recently, when he invited all his Twitter followers to give him a hand writing a new story about a character named “Stainboy.”

According to a recent article at metro.co.uk by Joanne McCabe, Burton – whose movies include “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” “Edward Scissorhands” and “Alice in Wonderland” – posted the very first passage of the story on Twitter, and asked fans to continue.

Fans were instructed to follow up with their own narrative, in the hope that theirs will be selected for the story’s final cut. “Stainboy, using his obvious expertise, was called in to investigate mysterious glowing goo on the gallery floor,” Burton posted.

His Twitter followers have been told that they can tweet as many times as they like, just as long as they keep the messages clean. People will be able to read the story as it unfolds by visiting the director’s website, where they can view the latest tweets to have been selected.
