Jason Manford Twitter Scandal: Comedian Quits ‘The One Show’

If you were enjoying having comedian and actor Jason Manford co-hosting BBC One’s “The One Show,” we have some rather disappointing news for you. According to recent reports, Jason has now decided to quit the evening magazine show, following the recent Twitter scandal he found himself in.

As reported over at, the 29-year old married comedian recently owned up to spending hours in hotel rooms, chatting to and flirting with other women on the popular micro-blogging website and via video calls on the Skype service.

Jason admitted that it would start with just flirting, but did unfortunately go over the line a few times. However, he also admitted that he would wake up the next day regretting it. Reports surfaced a couple of weeks ago, claiming that he had received pictures from a woman just in her underwear.

Manford has now resigned from the BBC show, stating that he wants to leave to concentrate on his family and commitments to his tour. BBC bosses are now expected to hold discussions at the weekend, to try and find a replacement for Manford, who was due to host the show again on Monday.
