Next David Haye Fight: Discussed on Twitter

Since David Haye annihilated Audley ‘A-Force’ Harrison there has been some talk of the fight being a fix, mostly down to Mr.Haye’s amusing comments after the fight about his family betting on a 3rd round win. I have to say I think he said it quite tongue in cheek.

So with the Haye vs. Harrison fight out of the way who is up next for the Hayemaker? If you are like me, I am hoping for one of the Klitschko brothers but is David ready for them? According to recent news, David is saying that he wants to fight one of the Klitschko’s but he wants it to be in England.

Haye said, “I went out to Germany to win my title and I want my defining fight to be on British soil now.” David also mentions that this is his last year in the sport and he wants to clear out the entire heavyweight division. By the sounds of things, Haye wants the fight to be in either Wembley, the O2 Arena or perhaps in a London football stadium.

If you want to read more about what Haye has said along with a couple of comments from WBC title holder Vitali Klitscho then click here. Alternatively you can follow the news on Twitter.

I used to think Haye would be the one British boxer who might be able to breathe some life back into the sport in this country. His actions since moving up to heavyweight are to say the least, dissapointing. He continually ducks fighting the Klitschko brothers, choosing to take easy fights against fighters that even by todays standards are poor heavyweights. His 'world' title is worthless while the Klitschkos still have thir belts and he flat out refuses to fight them. If he was any kind of fighter at all he would make the fight, the fact that he hasn't, together with his convienient plans to retire, make me think he just wants to squeeze as much money as he can from boxing before it gets wise to him. Him and that slimey little c**t Adam Booth are the worst thing to happen to British boxing in years, and thats quite an achievement.

David haye is far from ducking the fight. Hes playing with them to get his own way (money and location) of the fight. Hes wound them up so much they will fight david anywhere. plus If you were being offered a rubbish cut of the profits from the fight im sure you wouldnt take the fight either end of the day its his job. They are both heavy weight champions so the pot should be split 50/50. One thing you have to remember is that Haye was also a unified cruiser weight chanpion which is some achievment itself, and if he doesnt beat the klitschkos i still believe he has done wonders and put british boxers back on the scene.FACT!

David haye is hungry for these fights. Hes playing games with the Klitschos, Their so wound up they will end up fighting in the UK and for a 50/50 pot which is exacly what David wants.Nobody wants the fight to happen in Germany and def not in america The money is in the UK with box office. This event is going to be one of the biggest fights in boxing history. The 02 Arena would be an amazing venue for these fights and im sure Haye will have thousands supporting him.For all you brits who arent backing David to win, stay at home and prepare to swallow your pride.
