So at the top of the chart this week we have the Jonas Brothers after the band and Justin Bieber claimed they were more “likable” than each other. This sparked a “war” between the two sets of fans who argued on the microblogging site for the sake of their pop idols. In 2nd place this week we have Call Of Duty, because the latest installment of the game was released on Tuesday. Black Ops has been anticipated by gamers all over the world for ages and now the first person shooter is finally out to delight all.
Super Junior clinched 3rd place this week as they celebrated their 5th anniversary and football/soccer is in at 4 because the First-round groups were announced this week in the Copa América South American football championship to be held in Argentina in 2011. Other talk was about Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves who got injured on his first return back to play after almost 2 years of absence.
The MTV European Music Awards charted in 6th place this week as Bands Tokio Hotel and Thirty Seconds to Mars both won awards. The event was hosted by Eva Longoria Parker and was broadcast live from Madrid, Spain. The TV show Telton is at 6 this week as it was trying raise funds for AACD, a charity foundation that treats children with physical handicaps.
Number 7 this week is pop sensation Justin Bieber as he finally earned 6 million followers which he calls “Beliebers.” According to Mashable, Lady Gaga was not happy with these comments. Keith Olbermann is in at 8 this week because he has been suspended without pay, after donating money to political campaigns this past election.
The CMA Awards have charted at 9th this week as the 44th Annual Country Music Awards were held this week in Nashville, TN. And finally this week at number 10 is the NFL, with the most discussion being about the Dallas Cowboys naming Jason Garrett interim head coach of the team.
