Rosario Dawson Launches Twitter Petition for Role in ‘Star Trek’ Sequel

American actress Rosario Dawson – known for films such as “Men in Black II,” “Seven Pounds” and most recently “Unstoppable” – is such a huge “Star Trek” fan, that she says she wants a role in the upcoming sequel. In fact, she’s so keen that she’s even launched a petition on Twitter.

According to a recent article over at contactmusic.com, the 31-year old star has recently revealed that she is a big fan of the popular sci-fi franchise and has now started a petition on the micro-blogging website, in the hope that director J.J. Abrams will give her a small part in the next “Star Trek” movie.

“I love J.J. Abrams,” she said, adding that she has a petition going online to hopefully get her a small role such as a Klingon. Rosario says that although she feels “skinny and young” amongst the people of New York, she is surprised at the amount of times she has actually been asked to slim down.

Would you like to see Rosario Dawson in the next “Star Trek” movie? If so, what part would you like to see her play? We’d be interested in hearing your thoughts on this.
