Twitter Helps Jay Z Debut His “Greatest Hits”

Fans of rapper Jay Z will be pleased to know that the artist has pulled the covers off his new hits collection, which is due November 11. In a bid to give his fans as much information as possible with the aid of social media, the star has promoted a new website.

According to Jolie O’Dell at Mashable, the site which has been completely developed using Flash, will deliver the best in marketing music technology giving users a more interactive feel. In appearance, the site can be seen with a fantastic black and white New York City skyline, and included in this is an array of multimedia features such as full-screen images and videos. A unique addition to the website will be the interaction that users will get through the help of Twitter. Using constant streaming, tweets will give fans the option of getting involved in the current conversations giving their own feedback. When clicking onto the banner, you will be greeted with, “Tweets is watching. Add your voice.”

In a recent statement from the developers of the new site “Agency Net,” they commented that they were, “Inspired by a very basic insight: fans love to use social media, particularly Twitter, to post Jay-Z lyrics and illustrate their dexterity.”

The singer’s volume of hits will be out November 11 and will include “99 Problems”, “Big Pimpin” and “Empire State Of Mind.”
