White iPhone 4: Removed From Apple Store

For the last few months, those of you waiting for the White iPhone 4 have been bitterly disappointed with news of continuous delays, the latest in relation to manufacturing problems surrounding the color matching of the home button and faceplate. Today, grim news is indicating that Apple has removed the device from their official website’s purchase page.

According to BGR, if accessing the site and page, you will be met with a message that clearly states a “not available sign.” The black iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS are still accessible online in all countries but at this point in time, speculation is flying around whether it has been taken off completely to make way for the new iPhone 5 or again just delayed until next Spring 2011. Whatever happens is anybody’s guess.

It was only two days ago that we reported on the white model appearing on Apple’s new Store App, it could be viewed but said not available to purchase due to high demand.

What do you think of today’s news? Is this the end of the elusive White iPhone 4? Let us know your thoughts. Check out BGR for more information.
