LeBron James Twitter: NBA Star Retweets Hurtful Comments

NBA superstar LeBron James – who joined the Miami Heat back in July this year – appears to have been receiving a few hurtful comments via his Twitter page recently, from followers who have felt the need to tell the athlete just what they think of him.
However, according to a recent article over at myfoxatlanta.com, LeBron decided to retweet some of those very messages, which included one that read: “No one wants to hear u speak. Why don’t you speak by laying ur head under a moving car?”
As the Miami Herald reports, another of the messages read: “You are a big-nosed, big-lipped bug eyed (racist word).” LeBron dubbed this past Tuesday “Hater Day,” and posted a message on Twitter saying “Everyone please let them get their two minutes of fame and light!”
James – who accumulated around 150,000 followers on Twitter in the six hours after he had joined the popular micro-blogging website - went on to explain that he retweeted the hurtful comments to show people just what he and other athletes have to go through.
