Medal Of Honor to be outsold by Black Ops 4 to 1

Medal Of Honor to be outsold by Black Ops 4 to 1

Recently here on Online Social Media we have taken a look at the reboot of Medal of Honor and we have gone crazy for the next instalment of the Call of Duty series, Black Ops. However it seems that despite borrowing heavily from the Call of Duty franchise, Medal of Honor is going to sell far less copies than Black Ops will when it is released this November.

According to an article over on GamerFeed, Medal of Honor sold about 1.1 million copies overall on day one. This is in contrast to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, which last year sold 6 million in its first day. Black Ops is expected to sell just below that amount. This means that Black Ops is set to sell over 4 times the amount of copies that Medal of Honor has sold in day one sales.

According to EA, as long as Medal of Honor sells over 3 million units they will consider it worthy of a sequel. Hopefully for them there will be enough gamers with the cash to buy both games, as those with the choice are likely to go with the well established Call of Duty series.

What do you think? Have you played the new Medal of Honor game? Let us know in the comments.

This game is amazing!! The sound and gameplay is extremely lifelike. Online play is as good as CoD, I prefer this one because I can apply it to the war today in Afghanistan. SICK GAME!

I think the game is great but the single player graphics aren't the best.

I think Call of Duty is more polished. MOH is a good game, but it could be better.
