EA’s Medal Of Honor Overview

EA, publishers of Medal of Honor, one of the first-person shooting games set in World War II has now just released its newest edition. With a new reboot, it has switched from a previous second world war II scenario, to that of a conflict based war torn Afghanistan.

Felix Atkin over at Guardian.co.uk has given a brief synopsis of what users can expect to get out of the latest release. Available on platforms such as PS3, PSP, Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360, the game has already faced criticism particularly from the military in its quest to outdo the enemy, the Taliban. In single and multiplayer modes, gamers follows a group of top level Operators within the US military. Under the lead of the Nation Command Authority, a crack special ops unit work in specialised battalions.

The gameplay will give you advantages over Call of Duty such as having the advantage of leaning around corners, between gaps and over obstacles. Both games incorporate fast action as well as the feeling of true reality using realistic figures, surroundings and effects.

Have you or will you be purchasing Medal of Honor? If you had to choose, would you prefer this or Call of Duty Black Ops? Let us know. To check out more on this log onto Guardian.co.uk.

  1. I was a little sceptical at first thinking it'd stink of a Call Of Duty rip, but I was pleasently surprised. I haven't got that far in level wise yet, as I'm awaiting a replacement T.V!!! But from what I've seen so far, the game's definately worth playing.
