Lennon, songwriter and one of the famous four “Beatles“, was a star in the making and even after his death back in 1980, his name still lives on. In the past, search engine “Google” have changed their logos to mark the turning of an event or birthday, doodles have ranged from Agatha Christie, pac-man, Halloween, The Flintstones 50th Anniversary, Google 12 years in the making, Valentines Day and so on.

Brenda at Mashable reported that, google interactive logos are not a new concept, only last month, we saw the site introduce a logo made of coloured bouncing balls that could be moved with the cursor. Tomorrow, with can pay homage to John Lennon with a simple but yet tasteful video Doodle being played alongside “Imagine”.

    Cute, appropriate video.
Not too short, not too long.
    In the right spirit.
John would have laughed and loved it..
Well done to Google for recognising a genius, a word which is much overused and abused but true in this case.
