Fox’s hugely popular musical comedy-drama series “Glee” may well have earned 19 Emmy nominations this year, but when it came down to it they only walked away with two. However, that didn’t stop some of the cast taking to Twitter, to share their Emmy experiences.

As reported by Alison Nadaud at, Amber Riley, Kevin McHale, Chris Colfer, Jane Lynch, Matthew Morrison and Lea Michele were all in attendance at last night’s event. Jane Lynch (Sue Sylvester in “Glee”) walked away with the Outstanding Supporting Actress award.

The second award was won by “Glee” creator Ryan Murphy, for his directing on the show. Chris Colfer was the first to take to Twitter, posting: OMG! The Emmys were so much fun!” He then continued to say: “Got to work with Tina Fey and Betty White! Dream come true!”

Kevin McHale was the next to take to the micro-blogging website, writing a message that read: “so much fun tonight!!!! Congrats Jane and Ryan!! And modern fam!!!” What did you think about last night’s Emmy Awards? Should “Glee” have won more awards?
