Kanye West Twitter: New Tunes Promised Every Friday

Fans of rapper and record producer Kanye West, who gave in and joined Twitter recently, may well have to wait a while for the release of his fifth studio album, but that doesn’t mean that they won’t be hearing any music from him until then.

In fact, the 33-year old “Heartless” singer has just taken to his Twitter account, to announce to his fans that he will be releasing a new tune every Friday, until the end of December. However, they won’t just be his tracks according to Corinne Heller at OTRC.

“I know yall need the music so I’m dropping 1 new song every weekend until Xmas,” he posted on his Twitter page. “I’m calling it good Fridays,” he added. West posted a remix of his new single “Power” – which features Swizz Beatz and Jay-Z - on the site recently.

The rapper, who also worked on a remix of Justin Bieber’s song “Runaway Love” with Raekwon recently, went on to say that he is planning to release his next album on September 14th. You will be able to watch West perform at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards.
