David Haye vs. Audley Harrison: War of Words on Twitter

If you’re a boxing fan, you may well be aware of the current friction between British heavyweight boxers David Haye and Audley Harrison. The two champions appear to be locked in a ‘war of words’ on the popular social networking website Twitter, and some fans may have had enough.

According to a recent article at eastsideboxing.com by James Slater, David and Audley – who may well face each other in the ring at some stage – have definitely proved they can match each other verbally, with both fighters exchanging some very sharp comments on Twitter.

Haye took to Twitter yesterday (Tuesday), and basically called Harrison “Fraudley.” He also told him to “shut the fcuk up!” in so many words. Harrison has taken to his Twitter page today, and promised Haye that if they do face each other in the ring that he will lay him “out cold!”

“Keep talking,” Harrison posted, continuing on to say that his left hand was going to connect with Haye’s chin at some point. “You are in for a big surprise,” he said. You can read more via eastsideboxing.com. Do you think they should fight each other for real? Let us know your opinions.
