Kelly Brook’s ‘Piranha 3D’ premieres: Twitter Reactions

Kelly Brook’s new movie “Piranha 3D” finally hit the movie theaters this past weekend, and it appears that it opened to some fairly good reviews. In fact, a few people have taken to Twitter since watching the movie, and have shared their positive reactions with other followers.

I have to admit, I thought that the film wouldn’t be that great considering it is a remake, but obviously I was wrong. According to Ted Thornhill at, the movie was in fact described as a good remake by one tweeter, with many others describing as the best summer movie.

One moviegoer wrote: “@Piranha3D was easily my favorite summer fun movie,” while another posted a message that read: “Everyone go see@Piranha3D!!!” A couple of the tweeters described the movie in a very similar way – exciting and gory, yet sexy and funny at the same time.

In fact, even the film enthusiast over at empireonline were impressed with “Piranha 3D.” DazDaMan wrote: “I hadn’t had such fun in the cinema for quite a while.” Rwolfera said that although the acting wasn’t outstanding, it was still a great film to watch with a nice bit of comedy.

i would love it if all this word of mouth spread and the film built up some steam, but this is the real world and the films that deserve healthy audience turn out rarely get it (take a look at some of the underperforming greats from this year for instance, like kick ass and scott pilgrim) so instead of this absolutely brilliantly fun, gorey, naughty blast of a film american audiences are going to see vampires suck. "Retarded" is too soft a word.
