Twitter Movie Trailer Parody: The Social Network send-up

Since The Social Network trailer was released on the Internet there has been a huge amount of parody trailers on other social networking services, such as YouTube and MySpace –so was only a matter of time before Twitter got a video of its own.

The Facebook movie looks as though it will become a huge success, that’s if all those who viewed the trailer online will pull themselves away from their computers and make their way to their local cinema?

The Twitter Parody trailer is unlike The Social Network Movie, as it is not based on a true story. The Social Network shows us what steps were taken and how the Facebook co-founders came up with the biggest social networking service on the Internet.

Jolie O’Dell from Mashable explains that this video that we have for you below is a send-up of the upcoming Facebook movie and has tongue-in-cheek humor. We follow the struggles that the co-founders had coming up with Twitter, and convincing people that talking in 140 characters or less was going to be the next big thing.

What do you think of the parody trailer below? Should there be a Twitter movie?
