Verizon Samsung Intensity II: Social networking dream

Following on from Samsung’s last “Intensity” handset, Verizon have launched the next generation “Intensity II”. The new SCH-U460 device features a one-touch screen allowing the user to access social networking sites along with an external numeric QWERTY keyboard.

When Sze at iTech News Net reported, the latest model features a 2.2 display, a 1.3 Megapixel camera, Bluetooth, microSD card slot and an application for the social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and MySpace.

For consumers who believe in purchasing environmentally friendly products and reducing their carbon footprint, this latest Samsung offers an eco-calculator which can track car fuel mileage, efficiency and an estimated amount of carbon dioxide emitted. The “Intensity II” can be purchased in deep gray and metallic blue, and is being retailed at $49.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year contract.
