San Diego Comic-Con 2010: Where is the action?

The San Diego Comic-Con in 2010 will be running from today (July 22) until July 25. The news has been flowing pretty fast on the first day of the event, which has included news on Tron redux, 3-D Megamind, and Del Toro unveiling post-Hobbit film plans.

Some things are said to be “Too hot for Comic-Con,” and this was the message one billboard truck had on display as it circled the San Diego Convention Center.

According to the New York Times, the scenes in “Piranha 3-D” were said to be “too racy” for the Comic-Con crowd, and this meant action was needed to promote the Weinstein Company film off-premises.

Comic-Con is known for action outside the convention, and some of this gets the most attention. Universal was seen offering a chance to experience “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World”, by means of a “walk-through”.
