We have been through the confidence issues in the past, and the Toyota recalls were starting to fade in our minds, but that’s about to be smashed thanks to news of an engine fault in the Lexus LS460 sedan, plus a few other models.

The Australian is reporting that we could see “another embarrassing international recall” for Toyota’s Lexus brand. They continue to report that a spokesman from the headquarters in Japan, said the engine problem needs to be addressed soon.

At the time of writing, we have not heard of any accidents related to the engine-stalling problem. An article on ibtimes.com is reporting a U.S. scientific panel is about to conduct a review of vehicle electronics, which is said to be prompted by Toyota Motor Corp, recalls.

Has your confidence in vehicle electronics taken a knock?
