We learned yesterday that there was a Kellogg’s cereal recall and as you would imagine, there has been a huge response on Twitter. However, this is not the first and will not be the last food recall in 2010. But then again, it has not been that great for autos or toys either.

28 million boxes of Kellogg children’s cereal is to be recalled due to them having repulsive flavors and smells – this is a result of the packaging used. There were even suggestions that it could even cause vomiting and diarrhea.

There have been a number of funny and serious concerns over this recall on Twitter, with one guy asking how could they recall his as he “had Apple Jacks for breakfast.”

Another Twitter user said that he almost threw up after taking a mouthful of Crispix. More reactions on Twitter

Looking on Facebook, they do not seem to be discussing the recall issue – instead choosing to promote its Kellogg Cares program. Maybe people should start sharing what they think about this latest food recall on there as well.
