As many of you will be aware, the 2010 MTV Movie Awards took place in Los Angeles on Sunday and what a great night it was. “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” proved to be the night’s biggest winner, taking home awards such as Best Movie and Best Kiss.

As reported by Sir GooGoo over at entertainment.gather.com, the two-hour ceremony also included musical performances, including Katy Perry, who sang “California Gurls,” and Christina Aguilera, who performed a combination of tunes.

It was a very special night for “The Blind Side” star Sandra Bullock, when she was awarded with the Generation Award for 2010. And while the Hollywood actress was up on stage accepting her award, she proceeded to lock lips with fellow actress Scarlett Johansson.

The award for Best Male Performance went to “New Moon” star Robert Pattinson and not surprisingly, the award for Best Female Performance went to Kristen Stewart. Although some, may have been expecting Sandra Bullock to receive that award.

Zach Galifinakis won the award for Best Comedic Performance, while the Best Villain award went to Tom Felton – Draco Malfoy in “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.” The award for Best Fight went to Beyonce and Alit Larter, for their movie “Obsessed.”

Meanwhile, the award for Best WTF Moment went to Ken Jeong for “The Hangover,” and the award for Best Badass Star went to “Rain.” Besides winning the award for Best Male Performance, Robert Pattinson also picked up the award for Global Superstar.
