For reals I’m being sucked in my droid just finding out when my update will be avaliable! I got a gun pointed to my head and about to pull the trigger if this update doesn’t come through. I’m losing it I’m losing it!!

I want froyo for my droid. With the jerking around we received on 2.1 they should be rushing to appease the masses with 2.2.

I am an android user and I am excited to wait for the arrival of this OS android 2.2. I hope this version 2.2 will be release earlier.

I own a Motorola Droid, and I am avidly waiting on the release of Android 2.2. What I would really like to know, will this update support 'bluetooth voice command'? I am quite sure that this feature would be greatly welcomed by all Motorola Droid and Android owners.

This is an awesome phone; it is ashame that this one feature is not supported. It was a difficult choice between the Motorola Droid and the Iphone. But I will most definitely switch to a different phone and perhaps even a different carrier if 'blue tooth voice command' is not support the next time around.

Does Verizon or Motorola have the say when it will happen?

I have a Motorola Droid and quite frankly I want Motorola to buy it back I’d rather have any of HTC versions. I bought the phone in anticipation that flash would be available with the 2.1 that was delayed multiple times. I was truly disappointed when the update came and there was still no flash. Not to mention my phone seemed to be slower at opening applications and it will now shut itself off when I am on the phone. Yes I actually use it as a phone, one of many options I think Motorola over looked.

It really feels like Motorola has given up on this version of the droid. I think it odd that Motorola can’t have an update as soon as HTC can. Is there a problem with the phone that I should be worried about? Or does Motorola’s business model not allow for upgrading current technology unless the masses demand it? Come on Motorola you should be pushing updates out at the same time or earlier as everyone else!

I want 2.2 on my moto droid. The anticipation is killing me. At least give us a date. I read that it would come out this month…is that true????

I own a Droid, and I have been checking every few days to see when this update is due to arrive. I really with Google would at least give us a release date.

I am most looking forward to being able to use flash on my phone. Steve Jobs is really shooting Apple in the foot by refusing flash. Then again, apple did the same thing back in the late 80's (which is why most people in the world have PC's and not Macs). Keeping with AT&T is costing them too (that is why I went with the Droid over the iPhone).

Can’t wait for the new OS. A girl I work with has already got the update to 2.2 due to a Verizon insider. It has a lot of really cool features.
