Justin Bieber Victim of Cyber Bullying

Teen pop sensation Justin Bieber appears to have created quite a stir on the Internet recently, and has even become the victim of cyber-bullying. And according to a report at kidglue.com, it is all over a mistake he made during an interview with a talk show host from New Zealand.

Some of you may be wondering what the “One Time” singer done that was so embarrassing, and that has caused such a fuss. During the said interview, Justin was asked a series of “true or false” questions, including the question: “True or False: Bieber is German for basketball.”

Bieber then appeared to get confused over the word “German” and even though the interviewer repeated it a few times, Bieber just gave up on the question and just said “We don’t say that in America.” It’s pretty obvious by the video, that Justin just didn’t understand the guy’s accent.

But not understanding the interviewer’s accent is not what people on the Internet have been mocking Justin for. Instead, bloggers from across the web – including the Huffington Post - have been mocking the assumption that the 16-year old doesn’t know what German is.

However since then, Justin has taken to Twitter in his defense. He wrote: “I count in GERMAN and translate my own name. Guess I know what German is. Guess home schooling is working out. Do your research next time b4 making a lame attempt at hating on a 16 year old.”

It is quite obvious that the presenter says "German", he then goes on to explain "its like Germany", and repeated himself a number of times. I personally don't have anything against Justin Bieber, I think he is a talented singer, however this is simply ignorant. The real shameful part of this is that he says "We don't say that in America"… It's almost as if he's trying to suggest that the New Zealanders speak a different language.
Stop exagerating about cyber-bullying, because he's "cute" and just get over it.
