Twitter Backed by White House: What About Facebook?

There is no denying how popular social network sites are becoming; two of the most popular are Facebook and Twitter. However only one of them get a mention from Barack Obama’s spokesman – the micro blogging website.

We know that people throughout the world use Twitter but now the site has been given the White House seal of approval. However, press secretary to the White House Robert Gibbs says that it is a huge challenge to condense his thoughts to just 140 characters or less.

According to 24worldnews, Gibbs told CNN that using Twitter makes it possible for him and the team at the White House to reach a wider audience on a much quicker scale than ever before.

We have to agree, instead of waiting some time like new sources do, Twitter makes it possible for people to access the information instantly. No sooner is it written, it is seen by millions throughout the world.

  1. You're absolutely right, there is no denying how important social networks have become. They're how we stay connected with friends and loved ones, share information, and reconnect with old friend. That's why I use to backup both my facebook and twitter activity (it even sets it to a timeline). The interactions we have on these site will be of great use to our descendants. Just my .02.
