Twitter: Lady Gaga tweets ‘Telephone’ success

Before Lady Gaga premiered her sensational “Telephone” music video last week, she had taken to the Internet and her Twitter account in particular, to tease all her fans with photos and clues as to what they could possibly expect from the almost 10-minute clip.

And now it appears that she has gone back to the Web and Twitter, to thank all her fans for their support of the single and the music video. “’Telephone’ made history today, little monsters!” Gaga posted on her Twitter page on Monday.

It is uncertain what Gaga meant by “history,” but Lady Gaga and her “Telephone collaborator Beyonce did manage to reach a milestone this week. The single reached No.1 on the Billboard Pop Songs chart, becoming the 6th No.1 single for both singers.

While she has been overseas with her “Monster Ball” tour, Lady Gaga has been tweeting about the video. Last Thursday she even tweeted a line from the video clip, “Once you kill a cow, you gotta make a burger.” Do you follow Lady Gaga on Twitter?
