New Apple iPhone 4G: 2010 Expectations

Back in January it was all about the iPad, now that the hype is over it is time for Apple to concentrate on its rumored new iPhone 4G, which is expected to be launched in June or July 2010. No matter where you go websites are talking about what the expectations are for this new smartphone, such as Only Kent.

There original source was IntoMobile, who looks back at previous versions of the iPhone, current patents from Apple as well as the new iPad tablet device to gage ideas on what the iPhone 4G will offer. The main focus has to be on battery performance, no good trying to update Facebook or Twitter all day, only to find that the iPhone battery is not up to the task.

iPhone 2010 expectations include a new OLED screen; this will certainly be less drain on the battery. One of the most important hardware upgrades would be with the processor, using the A4 chip from the iPad. However, it is thought that Apple will declock the chip to run at 600MHz instead of the current 1GHz.
