Seems like Pinterest has been making changes behind closed doors, because when users try to add a Pin you will see there has been a few things moved around. Users are also having issues when trying to login to their accounts.
The latest move Pinterest made was rolling out its Promoted Pins service in the United Kingdom, as reported by WSJ here. But this change has nothing to do with login issues occurring right now; it seems to have something to do with its site being broken after a revamp in redesign.
One user contacted OSM and said they were having issues trying to login using Twitter, they even tried another Pinterest account they have using email and password and it automatically logs into another. They said, “The Pinterest site must be broken as I am having serious issues trying to log in.”
We decided to look into this and when we typed ‘www.pinterest.com’ into Firefox, Safari etc it automatically logged us into our OSM Pinterest profile page even though we wanted to open another.
Is anyone having Pinterest login problems, and are you seeing the slight redesign?
To add a pin you had to click on the ‘+’ sign located bottom right hand side when logged into Pinterest, but now it has been moved to the top of the page on the right as seen in in the screenshot above. They have also made it easier to create a Pinterest ad as well.
What is strange is when you see the login section, it does not seem to have login using Twitter anymore, it shows just Facebook and Google +.
