Many Cox Communications customers are coming forward saying they are having issues with a Cox Internet outage and that their webmail is down in Las Vegas and Phoenix areas.
Other problems are occurring but mainly seem to be Internet and Webmail being the two main factors of issue. We visited Down Detector and the two main areas of concern seeing down time and other issues are Las Vegas and Phoenix.
One customer said, “Just called them. Routine maintenance in North Phoenix for next 90 minutes. Checked my @cox.net email (thankfully retrieved by gmail) and I received no notice of routine maintenance. Is their routine not to schedule an outage?”
We here at OSM have looked into this further and it seems there is a routine maintenance, one tweet from Cox said, “Hi, you’re in an outage area. We are doing maintenance at this time. Sorry for the inconvenience.”
Other areas also having a few issues with Cox services include Omaha, Baton Rouge and Lafayette, Louisiana.
