David Bowie has died of cancer with children by his side leaving the world saddened with the loss of a great legend, after battling cancer for 18 months.
So many people have taken to Facebook and Twitter to send their condolences; he has two children Alexandria “Lexi” Zahra Jones and Duncan Jones and his son took to Twitter to say he was very sorry and sad, he also said in his tweet he will be staying offline for a while.
The official statement over on David Bowie’s Facebook page reported he passed away peacefully and that even though everyone will share his loss they ask that you respect the privacy of the family whilst they grieve.
It was on January 8, 2016 David Bowie released his 29th album, which is called Blackstar. This was done to correspond with his 69th birthday. Some of the lyrics in one track called Lazarus say’s a few words he wanted to share with the world like he had scars that can’t be seen and look up here, I’m in heaven.
The world is in shock after David Bowie passing away to cancer, and over on many social media channels you will see thousands sharing their love to his children and family.
