Social media fun at White House Easter Egg Roll 2015

The White House Easter Egg Roll social event is all set to start on April 6, 2015 with President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Vine users are all welcome to join in the fun.

This year will be the 137th annual ‘White House Easter Egg Roll’ and you can register right here, registrations started March 22 at 5 p.m. ET and will close Wednesday, March 25 at 6:00 p.m. ET. All invitations are non-transferable and you can only attend if you have a child present aged between 5-13.

On this historic day there will be many things happening as part of the White House South Lawn celebration, such as live music, fitness zones, games, cooking demonstrations, sports and of course the famous egg roll and egg hunt.

They also want social media to join in, and this year the theme is #GimmeFive, which is in support of the First Lady’s Let’s Move! Proposal that encourages children to lead healthy, active lives.
