Chinese New Year greetings on Facebook and Twitter

Today is Chinese Lunar New Year 2015 and celebrations around the world are taking place, as we all know the Chinese New Year always surrounds animals, in 2014 it was Year of the Horse, but this year there seems to be somewhat of a confusion as to what the animal is in 2015.

Chinese New Year greetings on Facebook and Twitter are already coming in where people are leaving messages to friends, family, loved one etc. Some posts and tweets are talking about what animal is it this year; some are confused between the sheep, goat and ram.

Many websites are saying it is the Year of the Goat / Sheep, but if you visit Google.co.uk today you can clearly see in the Google Doodle it is a RAM. The ram is headbutting the tree to set the Chinese lanterns off. In fact the Chinese word for goat, sheep and ram is apparently the same.
