Social media awareness for Call Everyone Dave Day 2015

Thousands of people are already calling people ‘Dave’ on Facebook and Twitter, on 8th February 2015 the late Roger Lloyd Pack would be celebrating his 71th birthday and to celebrate the ‘Call Everyone Dave Day’ will commence on Feb 8.

RIP Roger Lloyd Pack. The well-loved man we know as ‘Trigger’ from “Only Fools and Horses sadly passed away due to pancreatic cancer, and to honor him a website, Facebook and Twitter pages were set up by the name of “Call Everyone Dave Day.” As we all know Trigger always called Rodney Dave, so lets call everyone Dave to pay our respects in remembering the great man.

CALL EVERYONE DAVE

To bring more social awareness to “Call Everyone Dave Day” there are a few things you can do. On February 8th, call everyone ‘Dave’ instead of his or her real name. It is really good fun and a few of our friends have already started doing it. Do not forget to share the hashtag #DaveDay as well.

Call Everyone Dave Day social media awareness is important because it not only honors Roger Lloyd-Pack a very good and well respected man who sadly lost his life, it also raises awareness to Pancreatic Cancer UK.

Last year on 8th February 2014 Roger Lloyd-Pack celebrated his 70th, when the Call Everyone Dave Day” Facebook page was set up last year more than 45,000 people liked it. Trending on Twitter February lat year was the hashtag #DaveDay.
