F&R Auto Sales car dealership pizza man video, campaign

A F&R Auto Sales dealership in Westport, MA caused social media outrage when a video went viral after its employees tried to belittle a pizza delivery driver over $7. Many viewers said it was bad enough making the man look small in front of people, but to share the video online was down right rude and inconsiderate.

The Massachusetts dealership video footage (shown below) was reportedly recorded by a security camera located in the office, which was identified as “F&R Auto Sales” in Westport, the video was recording on January 10, 2015.

The pizza delivery driver is seen returning to the dealership to return $7.78 in cash he first thought was a good tip. They gave the pizza delivery driver named Jarrid Tansey two $20 bills and two $5 bills, the cost of the pizzas were $42. So it would have made sense to give the man two $20 bills and only ONE $5 bill, which could have been a $3 tip or $3 in change.

The video below does contain bad language so viewer’s discretion advised.

In the video you hear Tansey say, “It just doesn’t make sense why you’d hand me a bill that you were just gonna have me drive back here to give you back anyway.” He then said he wasn’t mad it was just a waste of his resources having to go back to the dealership.

The man to the left of the screen is seen to be talking to Tansey the most, then a female office-worker in the video says rudely, “Out the door before I put my foot in your ass.”

A GoFundMe campaign was started titled ‘Get Jarrid his tip money!’ which so far has raised a staggering $31,693 of 35k raised by 2,987 people in 5 days. But this campaign has since been updated letting people know no more donations can be made the Palace Pizza delivery driver, Jarrid Tansey.

The campaign page now has a message thanking everyone that sent in donations, but they have now been shut down at the request of Jarrid himself.

What are your views on the F&R Auto Sales dealership video below?

When it comes to F&R Auto Sales social media, the only Facebook profile we could find is ‘F&R Auto Sales Douchebags’, its description says this is not the official Facebook page of F&R Auto Sales. Apparently that one was taken down for reprehensible behavior.

Almost bought a car from these people…..so glad a google search brought me here. How do people who are directly involve with customer service treat another person like this.
