Eurotunnel delays commenced over the weekend after a smoke detection, and even though Eurostar is up and running again there is expected to be 30 to 60 minute delays.
The Eurostar delays occurred when the Chanel Tunnel was closed due to a lorry fire over the weekend, but thanks to the Eurostar Twitter account they have kept its passengers updated on a regular basis.
There was another problem yesterday with power supply leading 11 trains being cancelled, but full Eurostar services will run all day today but as said, with some time delays.
If you head on over to the Eurostar Twitter account you will see many updates on what trains will see a delay, 18 hours ago they tweeted saying train #es9056 left London and was expected to arrive in Paris is 01:30.
Eurostar also replied saying they are replying to tweets as fast as they can, they also left this number because at the time of the tweet there was a 1 hr 45 min waiting time – 03432186186.
Passengers have been advised to check-in as they normally would, all phone lines are open and full service today as commenced, but be aware there could be a 30 to 60 minute delay.
