The fire services are battling three fires today, which include the South Oxfordshire district council offices. It was last report to have over 25 Fire and Rescue Service crew talking the blaze.
Fire broke out early hours this morning (Thursday 15); it was then fire services were called to tackle the fire. South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse councils in Benson Lane, Crowmarsh Gifford, use the offices.
Council services are seriously being affected today, including its website southoxon.gov.uk being down.
400 staff are being re-housed to get services up and running again, one man has been arrested on suspicion of arson according to authorities, a press conference was held at 1PM at the scene of the fire Benson Lane, Crowmarsh, Gifford.
LocalGov is reporting a car may have been used to ram into the council offices, resident’s reports gas canisters were being chucked into the buildings.
