Two new products will be released by LinkedIn, the first is a tool that will allow users to send InMail (private messages) to co-workers, and it doesn’t matter if the user isn’t connected. The second product will allow a company to share content directly with precise groups within their employees – both products will begin testing by the end of this quarter.

This could be the case of LinkedIn Private InMail vs Facebook At Work, both seem to have similarities. Even though there doesn’t seem to be any direct competition with Facebook and LinkedIn, it will not stop people discussing this on social media.

Facebook At Work released in app stores today, this is a standalone app and is not connected to the Facebook app. There will also be a desktop version threw the Facebook website. There is limited preview at the moment and no one is for sure if there will be a charge, rumors have circulated that there will be price for the ad-free version.
