The old-school game called Oregon Trail is taking the Internet by storm, so much so gamer’s addiction is being shared on Twitter.

The Internet Archive is testing out in-browser emulators that allow gamers to try out games in the archives; this game is based on the DOSBOX DOS emulator. This means the Em-DOSBOX player will play in most Internet browsers.
Free gaming is always the best, and even though the graphics are near enough non-existent the gameplay is very addictive indeed. You can play the 1990 MS-DOS Oregon Trail game on many platforms being it Mac, Windows or mobile.
The game was always great on the x86 PC and Apple IIc, but now you can play on your up-to-date machine. All you need to do is use your keyboard or touchscreen move along in the game.
