Remember back on Christmas Day 2014 when the PlayStation network was hit bad, where connectivity was stamped on with a giant boot? Well, it looks like the Christmas reunion is still ongoing another PSN outage happened today.
Users were not able to login to their PlayStation to access services and online games, it all seemed to be fixed on December 27 when gamers resumed play – or has it?
But at 6:27 AM, 7 January 2015 the official Twitter account of PlayStation tweeted they are aware of an issue, they are trying to resolve the problem now. The tweet said, “We’re aware that some players are seeing drops on PSN. Engineers are on the case and investigating.”
There were 7139 reports only a few hours ago over on Down Detector, then it went down to 77 reports, and right now 126 reports have come in so far at the last time we looked. Looking at the reports coming in it seems Sony have sorted the problem, but the official PlayStation Twitter account has not yet updated to say everything is running smoothly once again.
One gamer messaged @PlayStation saying is this a re-run of the Christmas episode?
