Play Doh by Toy Makers Hasbro is supposed to be fun for the kids, but a recall was announced on the official Play-Doh Facebook account after a lot of feedback about its extruder tool.
The Play Doh extruder tool part of the Sweet Shoppe Cake Mountain play-set looks very similar to a mans genital area. It was this single part that has been recalled after shocked parents took to Facebook to have their say.
For a child to play with a penis-shaped extruder, which includes what looks like to be veins with a purple insert shocked parents. Squeezing the Doh out of the end looked rather sickening to a few parents, seeing as white Doh was used to “ice” the cake in the play-set.
Hasbro will be replacing any sets sold already, all customers need to do is contact their customer services department by calling 800-327-8264. The Play-Doh Facebook recall post has had 6,716 people liking it, 5,452 shares and 7,059 comments. This Facebook post has many different photos of the extruder.
