Twitter has finally put together its new Memorable Twitter year in review 2014, this year so far has seen many highlights and pitfalls.

Trying to describe something, reports news such as Garth Brooks and Iron Man Robert Downey Jr making their Twitter debut with just 140 characters’ on hand.

Or how about exploring the Twitter moments, which has made 2014 a memorable one and exploring the hashtags that made global conversation – Hashtags such as #NewYearsEve, #Oscars, #MH370 etc.

In February 2014 the most tweeted thing was the Sochi XXII Olympic Winter Games, in March Bradley Cooper decided to do a Selfie at the Oscars, where Ellen DeGenres made the photo go viral. In May the World Cup in Brazil was tweeted a fair amount and the Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 hit the Twitter trends for a while.

So many other memorable moments in 2014 pulled at the heartstrings, especially when the news broke of Robin Williams death.
