The new Google Drive update will allow Gmail users the ability to edit Microsoft Office documents, and they can do this without departing the firms email service.
In short terms, after Gmail users receive an attachment all they need to do is click on the “Edit” button, and then they can edit the Microsoft Office document simply using Google Docs.
Other than Office quick editing there will be support for 15 new Office types, and these include PPSX, PPS and macro-enabled files. You will have to run Google Chrome browser and this extension.
If you are one that hates converting files maybe this is an update you will come to love, one Google Plus users commented by saying, “Please add more fonts. We really need to make our document better with cool fonts.”
