Big Hero 6 vs. Interstellar social, box office stats

Two massive movies that done very well this weekend were Disney Animation’s “Big Hero 6” and Christopher Nolan space epic “Interstellar” and their social media and box office stats are impressive.

Big Hero 6 about a little boy and his inflatable robot racked up $56.2 million in ticket sales this weekend, whereas Interstellar didn’t do as well with $52.2 million.

With those numbers in mind it shows that “Interstellar” could not keep up in sales like “Big Hero 6”, we really thought the space epic starring Matthew McConaughey would do better. It shows the pilot of a space expedition is not as popular as a big inflatable robot.

But, Interstellar is more popular when it comes to social media. You can follow Interstellar on Facebook where you can join 589,391 other followers, as well as on Twitter with 37.9K. If you wish to follow “Big Hero 6” then Facebook is the only social media network to join, the official Facebook page has 425,921 followers.

It is worth joining these social media channels because we know for sure there will be sequels to both of these movies.
