The Facebook growth rate chart looks very good indeed, and leaping 23 positions in the brand rankings chart sees the social media network moving on up to 29th place.
Even though Apple and Google are in number 1 and 2 position in the rankings chart shown over on Interbrand, Facebook still beats them in growth. Facebook’s brand value growth outshines the likes of Apple, Google and even Microsoft. Facebook is up by 86% at $14.3 billion compared to its $7.73 billion in 2013.
Apple takes the number 1 in the brand rankings with a $118.9 billion brand growth rising 21%, Google takes number 2 slot with $107.5 billion rising only 15%.
Taking 3rd, 4th and 5th in the brand value growth-ranking chart are Coca Cola, IBM and Microsoft with $81.5 billion (3% rise), $72.3 billion (8%) and $61.2 billion (3%) respectively.
Other major top risers in the brand value growth-ranking chart include Amazon now in 15 positions with $29.5 billion giving them a 25% growth; VW is 31st with a $13.7 billion (23%) growth. Audi and Nissan are top risers to in 45th and 56th position with $9.8 billion (27% growth) and $7.6b (23% growth).
It shows that social media is big business, and even though according NDTV Facebook’s user growth has slowed down a little its ad format and delivery are somewhat a complete success.
