The Digital Impact Awards 2014 social media winners have been announced, and for the 5th time now the digital and creative industry around the United Kingdom got together to celebrate the Awards.

The use of social media made a massive stamp at the Digital Impact Awards 2014, especially across the corporate communications field.

Winners were chosen for the best corporate website, best digital rebrand and so much more. But, we want to concentrate more on the social media winners. When it comes to the ‘Best corporate viral campaign’ the winner getting a gold is Beats by Dr. Dre and R/GA London, which incorporated social media into the brand scheme.

All winners were treated to dinner at the annual awards gala; they also got to see the comedic stylings of Dominic Hall and a magician. Let’s take a brief look at the Digital Impact Awards social media winners.

When it comes to the best use of existing social media platforms on a small budget, the gold winners were Philips and Emanate for OneVoiceConnect and the Medium budget gold winners were Kellogg’s Krave and Isobar.

Autism West Midlands won gold for best development of proprietary social media platforms, the best development of proprietary social media tools winners were Commetric. And last but not least is best community development; the gold winners were Autism West Midlands.
