Facebook has just released a new campaign structure update, that will change the way Facebook ad campaigns supplies the newer “ad sets” better targeting, placements and bidding.
Facebook’s “ad set” feature was not brilliant at first; the flexibility according to a few users was missing. It needed something else to give it that extra control. Group ads were possible by advertisers but targeting and bidding controls were at the ad level stage, but thanks to the new update this can now be done at the set level.
In a nutshell the ‘NEW’ part is the part where you can define your targeting, placement and bid settings at the ad set level.
This is not a major Facebook update, but the time saved by SMBs using many tools to bid will knock the hours down by a lot – optimizing campaigns just got better by the looks of things.
The Facebook ad campaign structure update will roll out over the next few weeks worldwide. All the newly created ad sets will characterize targeting, placement and bid settings at the ad set level once the Power Editor, Ads Create tool and Ads Manager are updated.
