The Facebook login seems to be taking over the web, everything you want to do online you have to log in with Facebook.
This is OK if you have an account, but rather annoying for those that do not want one. Some of the comments we are seeing on Twitter and other social media platforms are not appropriate to post here, but we will break a few down.
One person said they do not want to be asked anymore for a Facebook login with everything they do online, they said they do not have a Facebook account so go away (The ‘go away’ is what we added in replace of a swear word ending with off).
A Twitter user tweeted about having enough of the security code rubbish @facebook, they said they do not wish to use their mobile device each time they log in on their PC, and they finished by saying “Yes, I DO save browser.”
The Facebook login is not working for many app users either, they seem to hate it when an apps only option is to login with Facebook, which gives it permission to post on their behalf.
Using a Facebook login for website use is rather ridiculous another tweeter said, even the new travel discount site Hotelied asks potential users to sign up with Facebook, but you can sign up using an email as well.
What is strange though is that once you have signed in on Hotelied you can add your Facebook, Google Plus, LinkedIn, Twitter links etc to receive the maximum hotel discounts the more you add the better the discount. So why cant you sign up using Google Plus, why does it have to be Facebook?
Facebook is like a virus some are saying – Are you annoyed you have to use a Facebook login to access most things online?
